In the beginning, even then, A new light was sewn for the righteous; a promise that your light would become the catalyst, first for Order and then for Hope. author of language and light, Help us to use words as you have to cast light into dark waters and draw out justice and truth. Whether it be poetic inspiration emanating from our siddur, the late morning sunlight peeking through the bare branches during a Lincoln Woods stroll, or a carpet of golden gingko leaves resting on the sidewalk, I am ready for the bright wattage of Hanukah. Thanks to the generosity of the Kaufman family, this Sunday’s Hanukah celebration with Cirque De Light at 4 pm, feels like a most welcome antidote to these dark and stressful times. I hope that you will also join me for the 1st annual Dreidel Dance at the beautiful, historic Providence Art Club for an opportunity to celebrate and enjoy each other’s company while supporting an organization near and dear to my heart, New Urban Arts. All are welcome!
As we enter this season of light and joy, I look forward to seeing you at our communal celebrations!
