If you have heard any of our informative Sunday breakfast speakers or attended a comedy evening and deli dinner with the Brotherhood, you have a sense of how important we are to the Temple Beth-El community. Through our many volunteer and charitable activities, we serve the entire Temple community.
Brotherhood and MRJ Centennial Celebrations
This year the Brotherhood celebrates our centennial, making us one of the longest-lived Brotherhoods in the nation! We were one of five original Brotherhoods that formed the National Federation of Temple Brotherhoods, now known as Men of Reform Judaism (MRJ). We held a formal centennial celebration dinner, including the Lindenbaum Person of the Year presentation, and hosted the MRJ’s own centennial celebration, which included a Brotherhood-themed Friday night Shabbat service with a nationally known speaker.
