Engaging our youth in meaningful ways is a major part of our Temple Beth-El community.  We provide engaging social activities for students to spend time together in and outside of Religious School.

TBE Teens Night (Grades 8-12)
Students in Grades 8-12 are invited to come on Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. for TBE Teens Night. Starting with dinner, students will have the chance to engage with peers and learn skills that will enhance their daily lives through a Jewish lens.  Students in Grade 10 will prepare for their Confirmation during this time.

PROVTY (Grades 8-12)
Temple Beth-El’s High School Youth Group, led by teens for teens in Grades 8-12
provides a venue for Jewish teens to meet and develop friendships in a Jewish setting.

NFTY Northeast (Grades 9-12)
The North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY)  is a movement
that builds strong, welcoming, inspired communities through teen-powered engagement.
Together, they pursue tikkun olam, personal growth, youth empowerment,
and deep connections, all rooted in Reform Judaism.  NFTY’s Northeast Region includes Connecticut (excluding Fairfield County), Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, upstate New York and Montreal, Canada.
