WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2025/5786
TICKETS:
This year, we will be continuing to send out digital High Holy Day tickets for all services. This enables us to be more environmentally conscious and provides all our members with quick and easy access to their tickets. If you prefer a hard copy, please contact Ashley in the office, and we can arrange to mail it to you or have you stop by to pick it up.
MULTI-ACCESS:
All services will continue to be accessible both remotely and in person. These services will be broadcast using the cameras installed in our sanctuary and will be accessible via live stream on our website: https://www.temple-beth-el.org/live-streaming. Please contact the office with any questions regarding access.
SECURITY:
We appreciate your cooperation with regard to the security measures in place for the High Holy Days.
- Please present your virtual ticket or guest pass upon entering the Temple. No one will be admitted without a ticket.
- Our ushers will help maintain the dignity of our services while also being mindful of the surroundings. Ushers will be posted in the back, sides and front of the sanctuary.
- Please do not bring backpacks or large parcels.
- Bags of food donated for the High Holy Day Food Drive should be left outside the Temple in shopping carts. Our ushers and Social Justice Initiative members will open and sort each bag.
- As we have done each year, the Temple will hire uniformed police officers to be stationed both inside and outside of the building during all High Holy Day worship services.
- Temple staff will be available in both the back parking lot and at the front entrance to assist anyone who needs help.
- Several medical professionals will be available during worship services. If someone feels ill, we will contact our appointed on-call medical professional.
- In the event of an emergency evacuation, follow the ushers’ guidance to the nearest exit.
Although we have no indication of an emergency, the above measures are important for our well-being and security.
Thank you for your cooperation. Please contact Joie with any questions.
