We cannot believe the summer has ended with a HOT and HUMID first week of September. Summer camps are closed, and the dog days of summer are in the rear-view mirror. This season is a time we can take stock of our experiences, our year and how we navigate our context. Our challenges and joys are noted while the Book of Life is open. With that in mind, we are excited to welcome children back into the
building for High Holiday services and programming before we officially start Religious School next month.
Children’s Services will be in the Sanctuary at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 16 for Rosh Hashanah and 2:00pm on Monday, September 25 for Yom Kippur.
Teen Services will be in the Chapel at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 16 for Rosh Hashanah. A special peer-led teen program will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25 for Yom Kippur in our school classrooms. This program will include art, poetry/writing and conversation and is open to all teens.
We are seeking additional shofar blowers for these services. Email Carl if you are interested and available to help out.
Religious School begins on Sunday, October 1 for students in PreK- grade 7 and Thursday, October 5 for students in grades 8-12. Click here to enroll!
Everyone at the Rabbi Leslie Yale Gutterman Religious School and Temple Beth-El wish you a Shabbat Shalom and L’shanah Tovah!
