"Where do we stand, how is this pandemic evolving and how are we managing with this historic challenge here in our own community, and around the country?" JoinLewis R. Weiner, M.D. for an update on the Coronavirus. We will discuss and reinforce opportunities for staying safe and healthy, and have a question and answer session to follow.
Dr. Weiner, a Temple member for over 20 years, has been practicing internal medicine in the community for 30 years, following completion of his residency at Rhode Island Hospital. Fifteen years ago he started a limited size practice focusing on wellness and prevention, affiliated with MDVIP, a national network of similar practices around the country. In the setting of increasingly complex and disconnected health care systems, which are largely population-based, this approach is designed to restore a focus on the individual patient, and ensure improved outcomes in achieving patients' personal lifestyle and health care goals.
