Tehillim - Soul Soothing Psalms with Rabbi Gavi Ruit Thursday, March 26, 2020 4:00 PM During times of uncertainty and distress, Jews have always turned to the Sefer Tehillim - The Book of Psalms - for solace, guidance, and renewal. Rabbi Gavi Ruit will lead a Psalms discussion group on Thursdays at 4pm. We will be reading and discussing Psalms selected specifically for these difficult times.
Kadima Thursday, March 26, 2020 7:00 PM Kadima (also known as matkot in Israel) is a beach game where a small ball is lobbed back and forth incessantly and intensely with paddles. It also means “forward!” Participants in this monthly learning experience will engage in a similarly intense conversation that embraces the nuance and complexity of Israel’s challenges and accomplishments. Join us for a deep dive into Israel’s past, present and future that honors multiple voices and perspectives. Participants need no prior knowledge, just a willingness to join in conversation and to learn from our sources and each other.
