"Awaken my soul to all its potential. A letter unique in an infinite scroll. Both the guest and the gift in this life I am living. May I be for a blessing as I come and I go."
These words were sung nearly every Sunday morning this past year by our students during our Tefilah. It is a joy to watch their faces as they sing. The significance is not lost on us. Each of our students is unique while being a part of a larger story that we have created together in our sacred community. They, along with our faculty, madrichim and staff are a gift and a blessing to this congregation.
Tonight begins our end of year celebration with our final Shabbat B'Yachad - Shabbat together. We will honor our teachers, present our fifth graders with the siddur they will use to prepare for their b mitzvahs and send our graduating seniors into the world with blessings.
On Sunday we will gather for one last week of religious school with singing, laughter, and words of thanks for another incredible year. We opened enrollment today for our 5785 school year so that we can take this joyful, communal and accessible energy into the summer to plan for another phenomenal experience for our students and their families. Don't wait to add your name to our lists!
We are grateful for the overwhelming support of the entire congregation that has allowed us to do this holy work for our youngest members. We look forward to celebrating our Confirmation Students on June 11th and then we will see you back here in September!
