We remember the plagues brought upon biblical Egypt in this week's Torah portion. Bo reminds us of the locusts, the darkness and the promise of the killing of the first born. This weekend, while attending the Religious Action Center's L'Taken Social Justice Seminar in Washington DC, our teens will actively work to challenge the plagues that they see in our nation: antisemitism, hate, food and hoursing insecurity, violence, etc. Like Moses standing up to Pharoah,
our youth will be the voices that reign in power. We are grateful and proud to see that the future of social justice and Reform Judaism are in their capable and thoughtful hands.
Shabbat Shalom From Washington DC.
