On Simchat Torah, we danced with our sacred scroll and unrolled our people’s history for all to see. What a blessing to have so many join us in celebration and in gratitude for having the opportunity. We have arrived, once again, at the beginning of our story, B’reishit, the first book of the Torah.
Please join us for Shabbat TONIGHT for our first 7 PM worship service of the new year, complete with our quartet! It has been a very long time since they have participated in a Friday evening service so we are looking forward to a long-overdue reunion with all of you. There is plenty of room in our beautiful Norman and Rosalie Fain sanctuary to distance and feel safe while masked as we gather together as a community. And while you’re worshiping with us, you might notice that your Hebrew could be better or perhaps it’s time to fulfill your dream of becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. I will be teaching beginning Hebrew this fall starting Wednesday, October 6, then segueing to the adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah section of the class. Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns at 401.331.6070 ext.118.
Shabbat Shalom! Judy
