FUND-A-NEED
2019 Fund-A-Need Supporting Three New Youth Group Initiatives
TEMPLE BETH-EL SUMMER CELEBRATION
AGAWAM HUNT - MONDAY, JULY 22, 2019
Today’s youth spend much of their day on social media. They will tell you they feel connected to friends through their phones and IPad, but in fact, what’s really missing is the face to face interaction. To create meaningful and lasting friendships, the Temple Beth-El Youth Engagement professionals and lay committees created three new youth group initiatives. No need for phone and IPad contact, these new youth groups will help our youth make real life connections. Your donations will fund:
Azeh Kef (translation- “So fun”) for grades 1-3 will provide programming for young elementary school students with engaging social activities outside of religious school.
Sababah (translation – “Awesome”) for grades 4–6 is for our older elementary and emerging middle schoolers who want to have an awesome time together outside of religious school.
NFTY 6-7-8 (North American Federation of Temple Youth) brings the youth group experience to middle schoolers in grades 6-7-8. Events are designed especially for this age group, providing participants with the opportunity to make connections with middle schoolers from other New England temples.
Your donations will provide funding to keep costs down for in-Temple activities as well as field trips around Rhode Island and the New England region.
