Adult B'nei Mitzvah

The Adult B Mitzvah program at Temple Beth-El provides an intimate and supportive community for students to study liturgy, Hebrew, trope (Torah chanting), and Dvar Torah writing with our clergy. Close bonds form during this journey, which culminates with the empowering experience of reading from the Torah in our sanctuary.

Who is eligible to become an adult B Mitzvah?

TBE members who have not yet gone through the ritual of B Mitzvah are eligible. If you were not given the opportunity as a child, have converted to Judaism, or have a child/grandchild about the celebrate their own, this is a wonderful time to complete this mitzvah.
