We are thrilled to celebrate Sarah Mack’s 20th year as Rabbi at Temple Beth-El. In Rabbi Mack’s honor, we have invited New York Times bestselling author Frank Bruni to join us in the Fain Sanctuary on Sunday, May 5 at 4 p.m. Through the generosity of our Benefactors Fund, Rabbi Mack will engage Mr. Bruni in conversation, most notably speaking about Mr. Bruni’s book, The Age of Grievance. The volume speaks of the divisiveness in our country and ways in which we can bridge the divide. The Age of Grievance is due in bookstores on April 30, one week before Mr. Bruni’s appearance. Following Mr. Bruni’s talk, you will be able to greet him, purchase your copy and have it signed.

As a lasting keepsake, we will be printing a tribute book to congratulate Rabbi Mack. Distributed at the event on May 5, your entry in the tribute book will let Sarah know how much she means to all of us at Beth-El as well as to the larger community.
