Weiner, MD, a temple member for over 20 years has been practicing internal medicine in the community for 30 years, following completion of his residency at Rhode Island Hospital.15 years ago he started a limited size practice focusing on wellness and prevention, affiliated with MDVIP, a national network of similar practices around the country. In the setting of increasingly complex and disconnected health care systems which are largely population based, this approach is designed to restore a focus on the individual patient, and ensure improved outcomes in achieving patients' personal lifestyle and health care goals.
