Grades 11 and 12: Post-Confirmation

Our post-confirmation students are encouraged to become classroom teacher aides. They spend some time learning the necessary skills of teaching (writing lesson plans, classroom management techniques, how to present a lesson, etc.) and are assigned to Hebrew and/or Religious School classrooms. In addition to student teaching, a monthly study session with Rabbi Gutterman includes a discussion of Jewish ethics and thought, and current events.
