High Holy Day Food Drive

At the end of Rosh Hashanah services empty grocery bags, imprinted with items needed, are distributed to the congregation. On Yom Kippur, congregants return the bags full of the requested items. The hundreds of bags of goods are sorted by Religious School students and committee members and distributed to food pantries and feeding programs. Among our recipients have been Camp Street Ministries, St. John's Episcopal Church Meal site, The Pawtucket Soup Kitchen, Blackstone Valley Community Action Program and Headstart.
