TEMPLE BETH-EL CEMETERY

In the middle of the busy intersection of Route 10 and Reservoir Avenue on the Cranston/Providence line, is an idyllic place, where visitors do not hear the hum of traffic or notice the nearby shopping plazas. This park-like place is the Temple Beth-El Cemetery. Tastefully landscaped and meticulously manicured, the cemetery is owned and operated by Temple Beth-El, and has been for 150 years.

Walking through the grounds transports the visitor back in time to the beginning of our temple, where one can trace the birth and evolution of the Reform Movement in the United States. What also sets our cemetery apart is that burial rights are reserved for Temple Beth-El members only. If you would like to visit or learn more about the Temple Beth-El Cemetery, or if you wish to discuss purchasing plots, please contact Ruby Shalansky at 331-6070.
